After the session, anyone who wants to go further can ask me for a one-to-one review of their case. That is decided afterwards, and there is no obligation.

Who it is for

You live in Switzerland and have been here at least three years.
You have a permanent contract, you are self-employed, or you run your own company.
You earn well, but you are not sure what you are doing with that money.
You want to understand the Swiss system properly, once and for all.

If you have just arrived or are still on a temporary contract, this session will not help you: it is built for people who can already make long-term decisions. Write to me anyway and I will tell you where to start.

Requesting a place is not the same as booking it: I go through the requests one by one and confirm by email whether you are in that Saturday or the next one. If that day is full, you go to the following one with priority.

The brunch is at no cost. What does have a value is the place: there are ten, and people are waiting. If you cannot come after all, let me know at least 24 hours in advance and I will move you to the next Saturday, no problem.

If you do not let me know within that time and do not come, an invoice of CHF 80.— is issued for the reserved place.

Nature of the agreement. A confirmed place is a mandate under art. 394 et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO). Art. 404 para. 1 CO allows either party to revoke it at any time, which is why cancelling in advance never costs anything.

Cancelling too late. Art. 404 para. 2 CO provides that a party who revokes a mandate at an inopportune moment is liable for the damage caused. A place not cancelled 24 hours in advance is a place nobody on the waiting list can take. Art. 97 para. 1 CO governs compensation for non-performance.

Paying the invoice. It is issued in the name of Carolina Torras and is due within 30 days. After that, art. 102 CO places the debtor in default and art. 104 para. 1 CO provides for default interest of 5 % per year.

Data protection. Your data is processed under the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP): principles in art. 6 FADP, the duty to inform in art. 19 FADP and the rights of access, rectification and erasure in art. 25 to 32 FADP. If you live in the EU, art. 6(1)(b) and art. 13 GDPR also apply. Full detail in the privacy policy.
